Steelers get commemorative Heinz Ketchup bottle
Associated Press
PITTSBURGH - H.J. Heinz Co. is offering limited-edition ketchup bottles to celebrate the Pittsburgh Steelers' Super Bowl win. The 14-ounce bottles are available with either black or white labels for $5 each and can be bought online.
Pittsburgh area fans who just can’t seem to get enough Steelers “stuff” can also find Steelers special edition 24 oz. plastic Heinz Ketchup bottles at local Giant Eagle, Shop ‘n Save, Foodland, Save-A-Lot and Wal-Mart locations. The bottles, complete with “2005 World Champions” labels, will be available for a suggested retail price of $1.79.
Pittsburgh-based Heinz - which also lends its name to the Steelers' stadium, Heinz Field - will donate a portion of sales to the Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation, which helps troubled and underprivileged children.

Why can you ONLY buy the plastic bottles in Pittsburgh??? Don't the 2005 Superbowl champs deserve national ketchup recognition in all grocery stores?
Also, the label design could be way cuter. I've seen their cheeky ketchup labels screaming for attention with ketchuppy quips like "Are your french fries lonely?" and even Terry Bradshaw's "Served at the Immaculate Reception". Dear Heinz Ketchup, please consider my suggestions:

p.s. The Pittsburgh Brewing Company (makers of Iron City) has an announcement on their website that they are not licensed by the NFL to product any commemorative cans at this time. This had better change. Quickly.
