I live in the enemy's territory. Yes, and people are talking some smack - probably a little more quietly since the Chargers lost to the Ravens last week, but last night I started feeling anxious. Even my boyfriend and my cat will be rooting for a Chargers victory on Sunday! (ps - this means war)

Last night I needed a little inspiration. Of course, I turned to The History of the Steelers DVD and made everyone watch the Jerome Bettis segment (for the 10th time). Does anybody even realize how much they miss Jerome? I didn't until last night. Who is going to make the donuts now?

And that got me to thinking - am I losing perspective? Why am I so frustrated with Ben? What is going on here?

There's this quote I love by Big Ben about how he deals with fame:
"I try to think sometimes when I'm out, What would Jerome do?''

Consider this your new mantra this season

Oh - so am I actually going to this game where the Steelers will be playing - which is less than 10 miles from my house? NO. The stupid Chargers sold the Chargers/Steelers tickets in a 3-pack - so I would have had to buy tickets to two other (crappy) games to see the Steelers. Tickets are also for sale on Craigslist starting at $200 apiece. I am not made of money!  Honesly, I would rather run up a $200 bar tab with my friends.

p.s. I wore a Steelers t-shirt to work today and already I got a "hey sexy" by a dude on the street and a "how dare you" from the doorman of the building.
